OBO is designed and created by four Princeton Computer Science students: Christine Li, Ben Eisner, Catherine Wu, Walker Davis
The newsfeed feature of the application shows all items for sale in your region. If you are interested in an item, you can click on it for more information, including pictures, price, description, etc. If you would like to make an offer, you can do so with the click of a button
Want to sell? OBO makes it easy. Provide the name, price, size, description and then upload a photo from your phone's photo library. Once you hit submit, it will show up on other users' newsfeeds when they refresh.
For each item that you post, you will be able to see how much others in the area are willing to offer you for it. The offers will come with a dollar amount and the user's name and contact information.
Items on your newsfeed are filtered by location so you will only see posts from within your community. This removes the hassle of shipping and waiting, and allows users to see the items before making a purchase.
